Aircraft #1 sebound; stl.1.ric -- checked on frequency at FL340. Aircraft #2 nwbound clt.1.cmn -- level at FL330. Radar controller overlooked nwbound traffic and descended aircraft #1 to FL330. Aircraft #1 received 'RA' after starting descent. Separation was lost -- approximately 4 mi 700 ft vertical.
