Narrative:

Notified aircraft X had a popped circuit breaker. I discussed with my lead appropriate action. I explained to my lead my intentions to inspect wiring and cannon plug at the boost pump tank #1; left forward. I removed boost pump panel and inspected cannon plug and wiring. No defects were found. In addition; a 90-day history for fuel boost pump problems was researched with no problems found. I performed fuel boost pump operation check in accordance with maintenance manual 28-22-41 page 411 step I through page 414 step I10 approximately 5 times. In addition; 600 pounds of fuel was xferred from the left forward boost pump to the center. No defects were noted from operations check or xfer of fuel.

Title: A B737-400 RPTED A FUEL BOOST PUMP TRIPPED A CIRCUIT BREAKER. TECHNICIAN CHKED PUMP AND WIRING PER MAINT MANUAL PROCS. CHKED OK.

IN ADDITION; 600 LBS OF FUEL WAS XFERRED FROM THE L FORWARD BOOST PUMP TO THE CTR. NO DEFECTS WERE NOTED FROM OPS CHK OR XFER OF FUEL.
