Narrative:

Engine was in shop for teardown prior to shipping out for overhaul. Upon removal of throttle box; I noticed there were 3 washers; 1 each; under the heads of the 3 required for attaching the throttle box to the main engine control. These washers are not required for installation.

Title: A B737 ENG WAS FOUND TO HAVE EXCESS WASHERS ADDED TO THE THROTTLE BOX ATTACH FASTENERS. FOUND ON ENG OVERHAUL TEARDOWN.
