Narrative:

Flying on final ewr runway 4R I noticed a bright green light at my 10-11 O'clock position. It appeared as if it was originating from just west of ewr airport. Appeared to be multiple lights of greenish color. It didn't seem to be focused on anything so I assumed it was a carbon arc light of some sort. The next day my left eye was bloodshot. I would like someone to follow up on this because I just heard of similar incidents on the radio concerning pilots over teterboro.
