Narrative:

Company special procedures call for generating a deferral to replace the low pressure fuel filter in 70 flight hours after work being performed in the fuel tank. On dec/sat/04, work was performed in the right wing fuel tank. On dec/mon/04, the aircraft was released for service without having a deferred maintenance item generated for the fuel filter replacement. On dec/wed/04, I generated the deferred maintenance item using the aircraft total accumulated time for the day the work was performed.
