Narrative:
Failed to lower landing gear prior to landing, discovered on touchdown. Landing gear position indicator obscured by approach chart. Performed/completed before landing checklist religiously and doublechked to ensure compliance. Went through motions of actuating gear position switch. Failed to fully actuate gear position selector switch. Failed to observe sterile cockpit rule and aircraft in traffic pattern with no radio communication.
