Narrative:

Pilot initiated 1 log page discrepancy, but used 2 preceding log pages to exhaust details. 1 discrepancy appears to be 3 separate write-ups. Pilot conferred verbally that only 1 discrepancy was written on the 3 pages. Technician and other flight officer witnessed conversation. Following flight, crews have refused aircraft since 2 log pages appear to be open discrepancies.

Title: A DC9 CAPT WROTE UP AN AUTOPLT DISCREPANCY USING 3 LOG PAGES. INBOUND LOG PAGE AND 2 PRECEDING PAGES. 2 PAGES APPEAR AS OPEN LOG ITEMS.

Narrative: PLT INITIATED 1 LOG PAGE DISCREPANCY, BUT USED 2 PRECEDING LOG PAGES TO EXHAUST DETAILS. 1 DISCREPANCY APPEARS TO BE 3 SEPARATE WRITE-UPS.
