Narrative:

I was the first officer (PNF) on flight from dfw to cdg. After leveloff at cruise altitude I started feeling nauseated. After several trips to the lavatory, I started getting light headed and was extremely hot. The captain said the cockpit was on the cold side. I had a rapid pulse rate and was flush. The captain decided he didn't want to cross the atlantic with a first officer in this condition and elected to divert to O'hare which resulted in an overweight landing. Paramedics removed me from the flight and took me to resurrection hospital. I had high blood pressure and pulse, with vomiting and diarrhea. After several hours at the hospital, I was diagnosed with food poisoning and was given appropriate medications and released to go to the hotel.
