Narrative:

Aircraft X was determined to have cracks present in the aft cabin psi bulkhead as noted on log page X. The repairs were determined to be out of the scope of ZZZ abilities and aircraft was prepped for ferry to ZZZ1. In addition to this work, the aircraft also had non related work that needed to be accomplished on the nose landing gear for creaking noise, and also the APU was inoperative on MEL. Initially, a ferry permit was issued by ZZZ maintenance control. The log and all other related items taken care of at that point. Hgr line maintenance completed process in work and determined that the nose landing gear actuator support fitting bearing was gouged. An engineering authority/authorized #X was issued to assure preparation for ferry and engineering approval for the flight. I started shift with the aircraft ready for ferry. There was crew availability and local WX issues that dispatch was dealing with. I had at least 3 separate conversations with the hangar line that stated the aircraft was ready for ferry, log, ferry, and interim repairs accomplished. At approximately XA30, maintenance called to advise that the ferry permit previously issued for aft pressure bulkhead crack was not inclusive of the gear down restrs now imposed by the engineering authority/authorized for nose landing gear bearing. I re-issued the ferry permit with changes relevant to gear down limitation.

Narrative: ACFT X WAS DETERMINED TO HAVE CRACKS PRESENT IN THE AFT CABIN PSI BULKHEAD AS NOTED ON LOG PAGE X. THE REPAIRS WERE DETERMINED TO BE OUT OF THE SCOPE OF ZZZ ABILITIES AND ACFT WAS PREPPED FOR FERRY TO ZZZ1. IN ADDITION TO THIS WORK, THE ACFT ALSO HAD NON RELATED WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE ACCOMPLISHED ON THE NOSE LNDG GEAR FOR CREAKING NOISE, AND ALSO THE APU WAS INOP ON MEL. INITIALLY, A FERRY PERMIT WAS ISSUED BY ZZZ MAINT CTL. THE LOG AND ALL OTHER RELATED ITEMS TAKEN CARE OF AT THAT POINT. HGR LINE MAINT COMPLETED PROCESS IN WORK AND DETERMINED THAT THE NOSE LNDG GEAR ACTUATOR SUPPORT FITTING BEARING WAS GOUGED. AN ENGINEERING AUTH #X WAS ISSUED TO ASSURE PREPARATION FOR FERRY AND ENGINEERING APPROVAL FOR THE FLT. I STARTED SHIFT WITH THE ACFT READY FOR FERRY. THERE WAS CREW AVAILABILITY AND LCL WX ISSUES THAT DISPATCH WAS DEALING WITH. I HAD AT LEAST 3 SEPARATE CONVERSATIONS WITH THE HANGAR LINE THAT STATED THE ACFT WAS READY FOR FERRY, LOG, FERRY, AND INTERIM REPAIRS ACCOMPLISHED. AT APPROX XA30, MAINT CALLED TO ADVISE THAT THE FERRY PERMIT PREVIOUSLY ISSUED FOR AFT PRESSURE BULKHEAD CRACK WAS NOT INCLUSIVE OF THE GEAR DOWN RESTRS NOW IMPOSED BY THE ENGINEERING AUTH FOR NOSE LNDG GEAR BEARING. I RE-ISSUED THE FERRY PERMIT WITH CHANGES RELEVANT TO GEAR DOWN LIMITATION.
