I signed the rii block on a work card for #2 engine throttle valve adjustment. I witnessed not realizing I was out of date by several days.

Title: AN MD80 R ENG THROTTLE VALVE ADJUSTMENT WAS WITNESSED AND FAA RII WAS SIGNED OFF BY INSPECTOR. INSPECTOR QUALIFICATION HAD EXPIRED.
Narrative: I SIGNED THE RII BLOCK ON A WORK CARD FOR #2 ENG THROTTLE VALVE ADJUSTMENT. I WITNESSED NOT REALIZING I WAS OUT OF DATE BY SEVERAL DAYS.
