Narrative:

Landed runway 22R at ord and cleared at taxiway C. Held short of runway 27R, as instructed. Cleared by tower to cross runway 27R and instructed to proceed right on taxiway B. Also instructed to contact ground. I contacted ground and was instructed to 'double back on taxiway H and cross the alpha bridge.' in order to make the near 180 degree turn onto taxiway H, I slowed the aircraft and was almost rear-ended by an xx B757 taxiing at a high rate of speed on taxiway C. The xx captain seemed rather upset that a small jet aircraft would block his progress. He seemed even more upset that his high rate of speed almost caused him to rear end an aircraft in front of him. He made his opinion known on the ground control frequency a number of times. We proceeded to the gate without incident. Supplemental information from acn 632827: on ground frequency we were instructed to stop. This was followed by instructions to double back onto taxiway H and proceed towards the alpha bridge.

Title: CARJ FLT CREW IS GIVEN A CHANGE IN TAXI INSTRUCTIONS BY GND CTL AFTER CLRING RWY AT ORD CAUSING CONFLICT WITH FAST TAXIING ACFT.

Narrative: LANDED RWY 22R AT ORD AND CLRED AT TXWY C. HELD SHORT OF RWY 27R, AS INSTRUCTED. CLRED BY TWR TO CROSS RWY 27R AND INSTRUCTED TO PROCEED R ON TXWY B. ALSO INSTRUCTED TO CONTACT GND. I CONTACTED GND AND WAS INSTRUCTED TO 'DOUBLE BACK ON TXWY H AND CROSS THE ALPHA BRIDGE.' IN ORDER TO MAKE THE NEAR 180 DEG TURN ONTO TXWY H, I SLOWED THE ACFT AND WAS ALMOST REAR-ENDED BY AN XX B757 TAXIING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPD ON TXWY C. THE XX CAPT SEEMED RATHER UPSET THAT A SMALL JET ACFT WOULD BLOCK HIS PROGRESS. HE SEEMED EVEN MORE UPSET THAT HIS HIGH RATE OF SPD ALMOST CAUSED HIM TO REAR END AN ACFT IN FRONT OF HIM. HE MADE HIS OPINION KNOWN ON THE GND CTL FREQ A NUMBER OF TIMES. WE PROCEEDED TO THE GATE WITHOUT INCIDENT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 632827: ON GND FREQ WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO STOP. THIS WAS FOLLOWED BY INSTRUCTIONS TO DOUBLE BACK ONTO TXWY H AND PROCEED TOWARDS THE ALPHA BRIDGE.
