Narrative:

While departing adams county airport on runway 15, approximately 20 ft AGL, I saw a flock of approximately 20-25 turkeys suddenly fly up from their grass area on left side of runway. At least 2 birds struck aircraft. I maintained control and continued departure without lifting gear. Continued to home field 15 mi. I did not experience any changes in handling or performance. Landed at home field (JB01). Upon inspection of aircraft, discovered left wing strut fairing damage and dent in leading edge of left wing. I am aware of all the many things that have been tried on other airports to help prevent this type event. I do not know what would prevent this event except for automatic-patrol on field to actually travel the departure runway prior to each departure. I think this would help, however, is probably not the total answer.
