Narrative:

Aircraft was in for c-chk. C-chk was completed except for corrosion on left wing in walkway area. C-chk foreman turned this over to me because c-chk was complete except for 2 non-routines, one for the corrosion and one for paint. The blend repair for the corrosion was beyond srm (structural repair manual) limits and we were waiting for repair approval from boeing.

Title: A B737-500 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE OUT OF A 'C' CHK WITH AN OPEN NON ROUTINE WRITE-UP ON L WING CORROSION BEYOND THE STRUCTURAL REPAIR MANUAL LIMITS.

Narrative: ACFT WAS IN FOR C-CHK. C-CHK WAS COMPLETED EXCEPT FOR CORROSION ON L WING IN WALKWAY AREA. C-CHK FOREMAN TURNED THIS OVER TO ME BECAUSE C-CHK WAS COMPLETE EXCEPT FOR 2 NON-ROUTINES, ONE FOR THE CORROSION AND ONE FOR PAINT.
