Narrative:

Visual approach to runway 19R at iad. ATIS had stated that they wanted aircraft to exit runway as soon as possible after landing. We exited runway at Y4 (reverse taxiway) and switched to ground control 132.45. People were talking on frequency and when we could talk we were told that we should have exited at Y5 and to call a phone number that was given to us at that time. Upon calling the phone number and talking to the controller, she said that the reverse taxiway was not authority/authorized and that 132.45 was not a valid ground frequency to use. We did not hear that the reverse was not authority/authorized and nothing on ATIS said that 132.45 was not a valid ground frequency. Controller asked for name and pilot certificate number to file a pilot deviation report. Controller said we were rude and disrespectful for taking the reverse taxiway. Controller also stated that I needed to inform my buddies that this was not going to be tolerated at iad and that everyone would be getting pltdevs. I did not try to discuss the situation with controller because obviously she was not in a good mood. I did call back and ask to pull the tapes because there seemed to be some confusion. Controller said I would have to call back on sep/mon/04 to accomplish that. If she told us that the reverse taxiway Y4 was not authority/authorized we did not hear or respond to the call. Controller said that there was a common ground control frequency of 121.9 vice 132.45 but there was no mention of that. We had switched to ground control 132.45 after runway exit so if controller was talking to us on tower frequency, we did not hear any other instructions.

Title: A CPR FLT CREW AT IAD EXITED RWY 19R ON REVERSE HIGH SPD Y4 AND CONTACTED GND CTL ON AN INCORRECT FREQ. TWR THREATENS PLTDEV FILING.

Narrative: VISUAL APCH TO RWY 19R AT IAD. ATIS HAD STATED THAT THEY WANTED ACFT TO EXIT RWY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER LNDG. WE EXITED RWY AT Y4 (REVERSE TXWY) AND SWITCHED TO GND CTL 132.45. PEOPLE WERE TALKING ON FREQ AND WHEN WE COULD TALK WE WERE TOLD THAT WE SHOULD HAVE EXITED AT Y5 AND TO CALL A PHONE NUMBER THAT WAS GIVEN TO US AT THAT TIME. UPON CALLING THE PHONE NUMBER AND TALKING TO THE CTLR, SHE SAID THAT THE REVERSE TXWY WAS NOT AUTH AND THAT 132.45 WAS NOT A VALID GND FREQ TO USE. WE DID NOT HEAR THAT THE REVERSE WAS NOT AUTH AND NOTHING ON ATIS SAID THAT 132.45 WAS NOT A VALID GND FREQ. CTLR ASKED FOR NAME AND PLT CERTIFICATE NUMBER TO FILE A PLTDEV RPT. CTLR SAID WE WERE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL FOR TAKING THE REVERSE TXWY. CTLR ALSO STATED THAT I NEEDED TO INFORM MY BUDDIES THAT THIS WAS NOT GOING TO BE TOLERATED AT IAD AND THAT EVERYONE WOULD BE GETTING PLTDEVS. I DID NOT TRY TO DISCUSS THE SIT WITH CTLR BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY SHE WAS NOT IN A GOOD MOOD. I DID CALL BACK AND ASK TO PULL THE TAPES BECAUSE THERE SEEMED TO BE SOME CONFUSION. CTLR SAID I WOULD HAVE TO CALL BACK ON SEP/MON/04 TO ACCOMPLISH THAT. IF SHE TOLD US THAT THE REVERSE TXWY Y4 WAS NOT AUTH WE DID NOT HEAR OR RESPOND TO THE CALL. CTLR SAID THAT THERE WAS A COMMON GND CTL FREQ OF 121.9 VICE 132.45 BUT THERE WAS NO MENTION OF THAT. WE HAD SWITCHED TO GND CTL 132.45 AFTER RWY EXIT SO IF CTLR WAS TALKING TO US ON TWR FREQ, WE DID NOT HEAR ANY OTHER INSTRUCTIONS.
