Narrative:

Smell of smoke and report from cabin crew of sparks coming from ceiling area of first class prompted declaration of emergency and clearance to ZZZ. Proceeded high speed below 10000 ft, towards ZZZ. Then smoke subsided and a normal left traffic to runway 23L for landing. Following all clear from fire chief proceed to gate. (Maintenance found burnt wires and insulation above ceiling panels in first class cabin and popped circuit breaker for aft galley power.)
