Narrative:

After pushback was complete, and the #2 engine was running, the left wing body heat light illuminated with the APU running and its bleed valve open. After completing the QRH, maintenance control requested a gate return which we did without incident. Maintenance checked for leaks, ran the engine to try and duplicate the problem, but couldn't, then cleared/released the aircraft. During the second pushback, with the same engine, APU, and bleed valve scenario, the light illuminated again. We again returned to the gate. The flight was eventually cancelled.
