Narrative:

Somewhere between ZZZ1 and ZZZ2, 1ST flight attendant called and informed of passenger with intense stomach pain. First officer contacted medlink. I began looking at airports, and pulled altitude charts for 2223. Flight attendant arrived shortly and we spoke with medlink. Reinforced with flight attendant that we can put the plane down whenever, if necessary. Asked center for priority handling. Unable to get direct to ZZZ VORTAC for military airspace. Eventually passenger's pains increased and declared an emergency, and cleared direct ZZZ. Everything ran so smooth, until we landed, and were given a gate change, and no rampers to marshall us.
