Narrative:
On aug/wed/04 we departed T43 at XA17, flew course 337 degrees to T28. At 6500 ft, changed course to 360 degrees. Approximately XC30 we ran into a wall of clouds. The only way out was down and northeast. I knew I was entering a restr area. I felt like it was an emergency -- had no other choice. I hit nearest in portable GPS and flew to gatesville airport. I started to land, but the WX looked better so I proceeded to get back on course. A helicopter flew alongside, we did not know what to do. He held up a sign with 122.50. I tried to make contact on radio -- no luck. I tuned my other radio to same frequency, still no contact. 2 F-16's came by and nearly blew my wings off 3 times. I was trying my best to cooperate to no avail. Waco tower made contact with me. I was lost and he cleared me to the airport and we landed. I gave my report to the FAA and secret service. I am very sorry about this. I just took necessary steps to save our lives!
