Narrative:

I received a collins edv (622-5046-101) from the ZZZ group in 'inspected' condition. It was inoperative, presumably due to previous repairs therein contained in the paper trail. The unit was received at air carrier X airlines on aug/fri/04. Without breaking seals, I determined that a previously replaced high voltage section was improperly adjusted. This ultimately causes the unit to completely blank. Work was performed at company Y.

Narrative: I RECEIVED A COLLINS EDV (622-5046-101) FROM THE ZZZ GROUP IN 'INSPECTED' CONDITION. IT WAS INOP, PRESUMABLY DUE TO PREVIOUS REPAIRS THEREIN CONTAINED IN THE PAPER TRAIL. THE UNIT WAS RECEIVED AT ACR X AIRLINES ON AUG/FRI/04. WITHOUT BREAKING SEALS, I DETERMINED THAT A PREVIOUSLY REPLACED HIGH VOLTAGE SECTION WAS IMPROPERLY ADJUSTED.
