Narrative:
Captain informed me (#1 flight attendant) on approach to ord, with landing gear down, of a warning light of fire in aircraft right engine. Aircraft right engine was shut down. Emergency landing was declared and we were to be met by crash fire rescue equipment. I advised flight attendants of situation. I reported to captain that fire/flames were not seen. Landed without incident. Taxied to gate and deplaned.

Narrative: CAPT INFORMED ME (#1 FLT ATTENDANT) ON APCH TO ORD, WITH LNDG GEAR DOWN, OF A WARNING LIGHT OF FIRE IN ACFT R ENG. ACFT R ENG WAS SHUT DOWN. EMER LNDG WAS DECLARED AND WE WERE TO BE MET BY CFR. I ADVISED FLT ATTENDANTS OF SIT. I RPTED TO CAPT THAT FIRE/FLAMES WERE NOT SEEN. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. TAXIED TO GATE AND DEPLANED.
