Narrative:

Upon taxi out, left wingtip impacted part of the terminal. Taxied back in and shut down engines. We arrived in gst after flying VOR DME runway 29. We performed shutdown duties, I did walkaround for co-pilot since he was busy preparing computer and airplane for his leg back to jnu. We were parked exactly on the designated parking spot. I returned to flight deck to help the first officer since this was his first time into gst. We discussed how close the airplane was to the building, why there was no tug and why the airplane spot and taxi lines angle in towards the building. When we were ready to taxi, I signaled the marshaler (in front of nose). She waved me on towards the runway and moved over next to building. Did not see any wing walkers. I added power. Once the aircraft started moving forward, I simultaneously closed the throttles and turned the nosewheel away from the building toward the runway. As we taxied forward, I felt something. I thought I ran over a chock left on the ramp. I stopped the airplane and called operations (as they were calling me along with the flight attendants). They told me we hit the building. I informed passenger that we were returning to parking. We made right turn onto taxi lines and followed marshaler's instructions back to parking spot. I stepped off airplane and saw the damage at left wingtip. Ramp was wet.
