Narrative:

On taxiway B holding short of A7, road vehicles were holding short of our taxiway B. After being cleared to continue (right turn onto A7), I turned on taxi light, pwred up and this person driving a pickup from another air carrier darts out in front of us and beats it across to go on his merry way. That surprised the heck out of me, had to jerk power back and apply brakes. What really irritated me was the dumb individual behind him then decides to dart across, too! That really irritated me and we told ground the first vehicle description and number, the second vehicle description (same air carrier's minivan -- unable to get vehicle number due to all the excitement) and what happened as well as their direction of travel. They proceeded northwest, parallel to runway 32L towards company parking lot. I see more and more careless operation of ground vehicles. I think it is because of pressure to 'keep things moving' for economical purposes. The safety aspects of all operations should be better emphasized over economics, period.
