Narrative:

On jul/wed/04 my crew tied in a 'gear box' installation on aircraft X on #2 engine. I assigned 2 technicians to finish the installation. We accomplished a leak check. Myself, an inspector, and mr X were involved during this leak check. To my best knowledge everything was hooked up except 1 line which was connected later, on step #18. Unfortunately a signature was missing on step 11E. I overlooked during my reviewing of the whole task card. On thursday in the morning it was brought to my attention that the signature was missing on step 11E. After conversing with all those involved, I signed the step since I believed that step mentioned above was accomplished but was forgotten to be signed.
