Narrative:
I have just received notice of a crew oxygen bottle that I supposedly svced, that was safety wired in the closed position. Log page indicates that I svced the crew oxygen for aircraft on jun/tue/04. Log page indicated that on jul/sun/04 (40 days later) the flight crew finally noticed that they didn't have any oxygen for emergency purposes. I will tell you that they were the ones who svced crew oxygen and did not write it up in the log page as well as doing the job correctly. I would even go so far as to say that the crew oxygen bottle has probably been svced at least a half a dozen times since I last svced it and also went unrecorded in the logbook.

Title: B737-400 MECH WAS ACCUSED OF INSTALLING A CREW OXYGEN BOTTLE THAT WAS SAFETIED IN THE CLOSED POS.
Narrative: I HAVE JUST RECEIVED NOTICE OF A CREW OXYGEN BOTTLE THAT I SUPPOSEDLY SVCED, THAT WAS SAFETY WIRED IN THE CLOSED POS. LOG PAGE INDICATES THAT I SVCED THE CREW OXYGEN FOR ACFT ON JUN/TUE/04. LOG PAGE INDICATED THAT ON JUL/SUN/04 (40 DAYS LATER) THE FLT CREW FINALLY NOTICED THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY OXYGEN FOR EMER PURPOSES. I WILL TELL YOU THAT THEY WERE THE ONES WHO SVCED CREW OXYGEN AND DID NOT WRITE IT UP IN THE LOG PAGE AS WELL AS DOING THE JOB CORRECTLY. I WOULD EVEN GO SO FAR AS TO SAY THAT THE CREW OXYGEN BOTTLE HAS PROBABLY BEEN SVCED AT LEAST A HALF A DOZEN TIMES SINCE I LAST SVCED IT AND ALSO WENT UNRECORDED IN THE LOGBOOK.
