Narrative:
Level at 2500 ft about to intercept GS for ILS runway 22L. Saw aircraft taking off from runway 24 at teb. Told first officer to be alert for a possible RA due to pitch angle of aircraft from teb. I had this aircraft in sight the entire time. Received an RA to climb. I was slow to react to RA because I had the aircraft in sight. RA stopped after a few seconds and I continued with the approach and landing. Notified tower of the RA and was given a phone number to call. Called this number and talked to a TRACON controller. Also informed company. Note: I was vectored to the ILS runway 22L inside of teb and told to descend to 2500 ft. I was level at 2500 ft when the RA occurred.
