Narrative:

Took off runway 32. Aircraft was incorrectly over maximum takeoff weight. Limited by fuel burn for landing weight requirement, because of incorrect weight computation. Did not take off over aircraft's maximum allowable takeoff weight. Realized the mistake at cruise altitude. Requested lower and slower, in order to burn excess fuel. At appropriate speeds and altitudes, dropped partial flaps and gear. After a 25+ mi final, landed on runway 35R denver, co, below maximum landing weight for aircraft. The situation was discussed in length between the captain and myself. We concluded that if we did not burn enough fuel during the leg, we would ask to hold. Holding was unnecessary and we landed under maximum landing weight. This matter will be resolved in the future by both first officer and captain double-checking the weight and balance.

Title: A CL65 CREW REALIZES, DURING CRUISE, THAT ARR AT DEST WILL BE ABOVE MAX LNDG WT. APPROPRIATE PROCS ARE APPLIED INFLT TO REDUCE WT BELOW THE LIMITING LNDG WT PRIOR TO ARR.

Narrative: TOOK OFF RWY 32. ACFT WAS INCORRECTLY OVER MAX TKOF WT. LIMITED BY FUEL BURN FOR LNDG WT REQUIREMENT, BECAUSE OF INCORRECT WT COMPUTATION. DID NOT TAKE OFF OVER ACFT'S MAX ALLOWABLE TKOF WT. REALIZED THE MISTAKE AT CRUISE ALT. REQUESTED LOWER AND SLOWER, IN ORDER TO BURN EXCESS FUEL. AT APPROPRIATE SPDS AND ALTS, DROPPED PARTIAL FLAPS AND GEAR. AFTER A 25+ MI FINAL, LANDED ON RWY 35R DENVER, CO, BELOW MAX LNDG WT FOR ACFT. THE SIT WAS DISCUSSED IN LENGTH BTWN THE CAPT AND MYSELF. WE CONCLUDED THAT IF WE DID NOT BURN ENOUGH FUEL DURING THE LEG, WE WOULD ASK TO HOLD. HOLDING WAS UNNECESSARY AND WE LANDED UNDER MAX LNDG WT. THIS MATTER WILL BE RESOLVED IN THE FUTURE BY BOTH FO AND CAPT DOUBLE-CHKING THE WT AND BAL.
