Narrative:

After a successful landing, I lost control on the rollout. The airplane veered left and I applied right rudder which proved ineffective. The airplane tipped and the left wing and left elevator contacted the runway surface. Both were bent. After leaving the runway, I stopped at the hold short line on the taxiway and my passenger got out and retrieved his flight bag that had come out when the back door popped open. Supplemental information from can 617600: baggage door came open and briefcase was thrown out on edge of runway. I stopped aircraft on taxiway, told tower I was going to retrieve briefcase.
