Narrative:

Shift began at XA00Z. At that time, the NWS terminal area forecast for dfw had vcts until XF00Z. Company had no precipitation in the terminal area forecast. NWS had sigmets out for north texas. As the area of thunderstorms moved towards dfw from the south, we asked company for a new terminal area forecast. They refused! At XD12Z, dfw had a WX special for thunderstorms overhead. At XD22Z, company sent new terminal area forecast. We cannot plan flts based on after casts.
