Narrative:

Climbing through 9000 ft, the engine began running rough. I performed a magneto check. The left magneto was ok, but the right magneto shut off the engine. I switched back to the left magneto, but the engine still was running rough and getting worse quickly. I had full power applied, but could not hold altitude. At about 8000 ft, the engine stopped running. Attempts to restart did not work. I went through emergency procedures, found a county road and landed.
