Narrative:

After takeoff, the R2 flight attendant rang the flight deck to report the faint odor of 'hot electrical wires, and the smell was getting fainter.' I told her to let us know if the odor returned. Shortly thereafter, R2 called again and said the odor was back. L1 flight attendant also called to report the odor. We told the controller we needed to return to stl with electrical smell in the cabin. We xferred aircraft control to the captain. Accomplished QRH procedures and returned to stl.
