Narrative:

During preparation for air refueling, we experienced a problem with our #2 generator which evolved into a loss of flight instrumentation for approximately 15 seconds. In the process of trying to rectify the generator problem, we may have exited the western portion of the area we were working in (W107). We were advised by mission controllers that we were approaching the airspace boundary with ZNY. Shortly after this, our situation deteriorated and an emergency was declared. We landed uneventfully and, to the best of our knowledge, did not violate any airspace.
