Narrative:

At approximately XA00 jan/sat/04, I svced #2 engine idg. The aircraft was scheduled for flight abcd. Pilot reported idg fault light on. Idg was replaced and further inspection of engine revealed leak at oil inlet fitting for idg fuel-oil cooler requiring replacement of this component. (I did not perform any work on idg fuel-oil cooler prior to flight abcd.)

Title: AN AIRBUS 300 #2 IDG FAILED IMMEDIATELY AFTER SVCING. FOUND INLET FITTING FROM FUEL-OIL COOLER LEAKING AND FAILURE NOT SVC RELATED.

Narrative: AT APPROX XA00 JAN/SAT/04, I SVCED #2 ENG IDG. THE ACFT WAS SCHEDULED FOR FLT ABCD. PLT RPTED IDG FAULT LIGHT ON. IDG WAS REPLACED AND FURTHER INSPECTION OF ENG REVEALED LEAK AT OIL INLET FITTING FOR IDG FUEL-OIL COOLER REQUIRING REPLACEMENT OF THIS COMPONENT.
