Narrative:

On final approach runway 19R ict, at about 1000 ft afe, on a visual approach, noticed an aircraft on a converging flight path at co-altitude about 2 O'clock position. At about the same time the TCASII announced a TA. The first officer asked the tower if the traffic was for runway 14. Traffic was a mooney that had been cleared for a visual to runway 19L. Traffic appeared to be about 1 1/2 - 2 mi. A TCASII RA then announced a climb. I started the nose up slowly and then stopped as the traffic appeared to be climbing. I leveled off at about 800 ft. The traffic made a hard climbing left turn to pass behind us. The aircraft passed about 1 mi at our 3-4 O'clock position and 200-300 ft above us. Once clear, I continued the approach to a normal landing.
