Narrative:

At approximately XA50Z at FL380 on nat track B about 15 mins prior to 58n020w the left engine flamed out. We departed the track in accordance with contingency procedures. We attempted to restart the engine without success. We diverted to ZZZ. We dumped about 42000 pounds fuel. We landed without further incident at approximately XC10Z. There were no human factors of note. Supplemental information from acn 605193: we talked to dispatch and maintenance via satcom. Having the relief pilot proved to be an invaluable resource during a very busy time.
