Narrative:

During cruise at FL350, waiting for clearance to FL370, crew noticed engine right system fail alert. Crew followed SOP, aircraft control normal. Consulted QRH. Contacted dispatch and maintenance control over radio. Maintenance advised to return to mke. Crew discussed any danger or risk with maintenance, satisfied with explanation crew decided to return to mke. Shortly after turn back to mke engine left system fail alert appeared. Crew advised dispatch and maintenance control and advised them that the crew now decided to land in grr. Amended release, got WX, NOTAMS, landed grr without incident. Crew did not declare emergency or exercise that authority/authorized, and at no time was there any deviation from SOP. Flight attendants were advised and prepared cabin with time given.

Narrative: DURING CRUISE AT FL350, WAITING FOR CLRNC TO FL370, CREW NOTICED ENG R SYS FAIL ALERT. CREW FOLLOWED SOP, ACFT CTL NORMAL. CONSULTED QRH. CONTACTED DISPATCH AND MAINT CTL OVER RADIO. MAINT ADVISED TO RETURN TO MKE. CREW DISCUSSED ANY DANGER OR RISK WITH MAINT, SATISFIED WITH EXPLANATION CREW DECIDED TO RETURN TO MKE. SHORTLY AFTER TURN BACK TO MKE ENG L SYS FAIL ALERT APPEARED. CREW ADVISED DISPATCH AND MAINT CTL AND ADVISED THEM THAT THE CREW NOW DECIDED TO LAND IN GRR. AMENDED RELEASE, GOT WX, NOTAMS, LANDED GRR WITHOUT INCIDENT. CREW DID NOT DECLARE EMER OR EXERCISE THAT AUTH, AND AT NO TIME WAS THERE ANY DEV FROM SOP. FLT ATTENDANTS WERE ADVISED AND PREPARED CABIN WITH TIME GIVEN.
