Narrative:
Failed to report to owner and/or correct any corrosion found on airframe skins, fasteners and components. Failed to find and/or report to owner missing logbook entries for a strobe light installation, discrepancy was not addressed in any manner. Failed to find and/or report to owner missing logbook entries for an intercom installation, discrepancy was not addressed in any manner. Failed to find and/or report to owner missing logbook entries for a GPS installation, discrepancy was not addressed in any manner. All aircraft have corrosion to a degree, therefore, every aircraft owner must be informed as to the degree of corrosion and ways to address it. Record keeping on a 38 yr old aircraft is an insurmountable task, given the amount of contact the records receive. Through several owners, lots of technicians and the fact that all information is recorded one time on paper, makes this a daunting task. Locating all documentation and deciphering it, should be the aircraft owner's responsibility.

Title: A MOONEY 20C WAS RELEASED FOR SVC IN NON COMPLIANCE AFTER AN ANNUAL INSPECTION WITH UNCORRECTED CORROSION AND MISSING LOGBOOK ENTRIES.
Narrative: FAILED TO RPT TO OWNER AND/OR CORRECT ANY CORROSION FOUND ON AIRFRAME SKINS, FASTENERS AND COMPONENTS. FAILED TO FIND AND/OR RPT TO OWNER MISSING LOGBOOK ENTRIES FOR A STROBE LIGHT INSTALLATION, DISCREPANCY WAS NOT ADDRESSED IN ANY MANNER. FAILED TO FIND AND/OR RPT TO OWNER MISSING LOGBOOK ENTRIES FOR AN INTERCOM INSTALLATION, DISCREPANCY WAS NOT ADDRESSED IN ANY MANNER. FAILED TO FIND AND/OR RPT TO OWNER MISSING LOGBOOK ENTRIES FOR A GPS INSTALLATION, DISCREPANCY WAS NOT ADDRESSED IN ANY MANNER. ALL ACFT HAVE CORROSION TO A DEGREE, THEREFORE, EVERY ACFT OWNER MUST BE INFORMED AS TO THE DEGREE OF CORROSION AND WAYS TO ADDRESS IT. RECORD KEEPING ON A 38 YR OLD ACFT IS AN INSURMOUNTABLE TASK, GIVEN THE AMOUNT OF CONTACT THE RECORDS RECEIVE. THROUGH SEVERAL OWNERS, LOTS OF TECHNICIANS AND THE FACT THAT ALL INFO IS RECORDED ONE TIME ON PAPER, MAKES THIS A DAUNTING TASK. LOCATING ALL DOCUMENTATION AND DECIPHERING IT, SHOULD BE THE ACFT OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITY.
