45 mins from destination at FL350 MFDU message system #1 displayed hydraulic quantity low and associated checklists. Contacted dispatch, asked that he notify sat operations that we would need to be towed from runway to gate. Declared emergency with center, briefed flight attendants, completed emergency/abnormal checklist, alternate gear and flap extension. Landed straight ahead runway 12R sat. Terminated emergency, towed aircraft to gate.
