Narrative:

On approximately 5 mi final to runway 14R, ord tower cleared us to land runway 14R, hold short of runway 9R. We advised tower that we were unable to hold short of runway 9R due to company policy. Tower told us to execute a missed approach. Approach control asked us why we could not hold short of runway 9R and we told them that company did not have authority/authorized to do lahso at ord. We were vectored around and landed runway 9R without restrs. Landed runway 9R uneventful and taxied to the gate. In the future, I would recommend advising approach control on initial contact that we can not accept any lahso at ord.
