Narrative:

Misread teterboro 5 departure from off runway 24. Did not level off at 1500 ft until reaching 4.5 DME from teb VOR then climb to 2000 ft. Instead, climbed to 2000 ft before reaching the 4.5 DME fix. Was notified of mistake by ny departure. Departure runway was changed from runway 19 to runway 24 prior to departure. Read the departure procedure too fast. Will take more time and make sure of correct procedure next time.

Narrative: MISREAD TETERBORO 5 DEP FROM OFF RWY 24. DID NOT LEVEL OFF AT 1500 FT UNTIL REACHING 4.5 DME FROM TEB VOR THEN CLB TO 2000 FT. INSTEAD, CLBED TO 2000 FT BEFORE REACHING THE 4.5 DME FIX.
