Narrative:

I filed IFR flight plan form, tampa bay executive (3f01) to daytona international (dab). Approached field, was cleared to land. Relied on my new GPS. Zoomed in to confirm runway 25R as ordered. Couldn't see any numbers on runway. Unfamiliar with field, as most of my flying is in uncontrolled airspace. I had no airport runway charts and to my surprise, I landed on the taxiway which parallels runway 25R. It was a long time since I landed at a class C airport. After I was cleared to land, I don't believe I was handed over to tower (not sure). In any event, it was my lack of management.

Narrative: I FILED IFR FLT PLAN FORM, TAMPA BAY EXECUTIVE (3F01) TO DAYTONA INTL (DAB). APCHED FIELD, WAS CLRED TO LAND. RELIED ON MY NEW GPS. ZOOMED IN TO CONFIRM RWY 25R AS ORDERED. COULDN'T SEE ANY NUMBERS ON RWY. UNFAMILIAR WITH FIELD, AS MOST OF MY FLYING IS IN UNCTLED AIRSPACE. I HAD NO ARPT RWY CHARTS AND TO MY SURPRISE, I LANDED ON THE TXWY WHICH PARALLELS RWY 25R. IT WAS A LONG TIME SINCE I LANDED AT A CLASS C ARPT. AFTER I WAS CLRED TO LAND, I DON'T BELIEVE I WAS HANDED OVER TO TWR (NOT SURE). IN ANY EVENT, IT WAS MY LACK OF MGMNT.
