Narrative:

After landing at teb, we called ground when clearing runway 19 with a request to 'taxi to FBO.' ground controller responded, 'cleared to FBO.' as we crossed runway 24, we noticed an aircraft positioning for departure. As we cleared the runway, it became evident that the other aircraft was on takeoff roll. Never cross an active runway without a double verification.
