Narrative:

Service bulletin X is currently being performed on an attrition basis only on rb 211 blades (01 module). When an 01 blade is scrapped a new blade with the service bulletin complied with is installed. The blades that require service bulletin X to be complied with are repair order out to the vendor and are received back with an 8130 attached. The blades must be moment weighed to be reinstalled in the engine. When moment weighing the blades the chocking pads are removed as part of the balance procedure. After moment weighing the vibration dampeners are reinstalled. Thinking the service bulletin had been complied with, which adds a metco coating to the blade root, I moment weighed the blades and installed the chocking pads. However I used pre-service bulletin pads. After completion of the service bulletin different chocking pads are used. Post service bulletin pads: fw 11180, fw 11185. Pre-service bulletin pads: UL33588, UL33592. How many blades are affected I do not know.
