Narrative:

En route to cyyz, in the vicinity of psi, we noticed oil quantity decreasing toward zero. We referenced oil quantity decreasing checklist. Oil temperature and pressure were normal. Approximately 5 mins later, oil pressure began to decrease. The left oil pressure low light illuminated. We reduced thrust as per the checklist and declared an emergency. We were approximately 90 mi from iad and made the decision to divert there. We accomplished engine failure/in-flight shutdown and 1 engine landing checklists.
