Narrative:

Engine problem approximately 45 mins in-flight. Captain informed #1 flight attendant that he would divert to tpa in 10 mins. No planned emergency evacuate/evacuation necessary. Collected items from cabin and took jump seats. Landed without incident. Just as a note: we were dealing with an uncooperative passenger (she had entire row). Were just about to ask captain to divert if she caused any other problems. She was removed from aircraft in tpa by paramedics and law enforcement. She was taken to emergency room in tpa where she escaped and was never found. Report was filed on this passenger. She entered the aircraft by aisle chair, insisted on being last was placed in row xx (abc) instead of original seat of xx. Got out of seat within 10 mins of flight, went to restroom where she stayed for at least 10 mins under careful watch by myself from outside of door (door was locked). After a few mins, I knocked and told her to take her seat within 1 min or I would have to unlock door. She came out wanting to situation in seat YYY -- insisted it was her original seat. Had scratched her arms badly enough where they were bleeding. When diversion was announced, she tried to fake heart attack and was popping pills. Most passenger did not believe the mechanical to be read (it was). Thought we were landing due to her. By the way, she did not need aisle chair -- could stand and walk fine.
