Narrative:
During pwrback with a planned and briefed tail south turn at dfw gate, nosewheel would not turn. Came out of reverse, stopped and parked. Flashed lights and got a wing walker to come over to check for a steering bypass pin. He found an unflagged pin in the bypass hole and removed it and showed it to me. He stated he would inform maintenance. We departed and informed ramp tower of the incident.

Narrative: DURING PWRBACK WITH A PLANNED AND BRIEFED TAIL S TURN AT DFW GATE, NOSEWHEEL WOULD NOT TURN. CAME OUT OF REVERSE, STOPPED AND PARKED.
