Narrative:

I collected WX/NOTAM information for a flight from sck to wvi and flew from sck to wvi for lunch. I planned to fly straight back, but took the scenic route up the coast. I called norcal approach and asked for the bay city tour. I was given a squawk code, and continued toward the golden gate bridge. As I flew near the bridge, the controller advised that I was entering restr airspace and to turn left. I turned left immediately to avoid the restr airspace. Airshow was in the area. If I checked NOTAMS outside my original intended route, I would have known to avoid the area. I have since taken a flight organization program and will check for NOTAMS outside my route before flying outside route.

Title: A LOW TIME PA32 PVT PLT ENTERS THE RESTR AIRSPACE NEAR THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE DURING AN AIRSHOW AT SFO, CA.

Narrative: I COLLECTED WX/NOTAM INFO FOR A FLT FROM SCK TO WVI AND FLEW FROM SCK TO WVI FOR LUNCH. I PLANNED TO FLY STRAIGHT BACK, BUT TOOK THE SCENIC RTE UP THE COAST. I CALLED NORCAL APCH AND ASKED FOR THE BAY CITY TOUR. I WAS GIVEN A SQUAWK CODE, AND CONTINUED TOWARD THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE. AS I FLEW NEAR THE BRIDGE, THE CTLR ADVISED THAT I WAS ENTERING RESTR AIRSPACE AND TO TURN L. I TURNED L IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID THE RESTR AIRSPACE. AIRSHOW WAS IN THE AREA. IF I CHKED NOTAMS OUTSIDE MY ORIGINAL INTENDED RTE, I WOULD HAVE KNOWN TO AVOID THE AREA. I HAVE SINCE TAKEN A FLT ORGANIZATION PROGRAM AND WILL CHK FOR NOTAMS OUTSIDE MY RTE BEFORE FLYING OUTSIDE RTE.
