Narrative:

Flight attendants #3, #2, #4 were in aft galley. Passenger X went to lavatory. When he came out, all flight attendants smelt smoke. We discussed issue. I then went to passenger and asked if he was smoking. He stated yes. I informed him of FAA regulations as well as airline's policy. Passenger stated it was his first flight, not aware of rules, also stated he would not smoke again. Informed captain, all flight attendants completed air carrier event report. Captain did have local deputies meet flight and requested that I deplane before passenger and have no further contact. I did as captain requested.

Title: COACH PAX IS DETERMINED TO HAVE BEEN SMOKING IN COACH LAVATORY BY FLT ATTENDANT, ADMITTING TO ACT PRIOR TO LNDG AT DFW, TX.

Narrative: FLT ATTENDANTS #3, #2, #4 WERE IN AFT GALLEY. PAX X WENT TO LAVATORY. WHEN HE CAME OUT, ALL FLT ATTENDANTS SMELT SMOKE. WE DISCUSSED ISSUE. I THEN WENT TO PAX AND ASKED IF HE WAS SMOKING. HE STATED YES. I INFORMED HIM OF FAA REGS AS WELL AS AIRLINE'S POLICY. PAX STATED IT WAS HIS FIRST FLT, NOT AWARE OF RULES, ALSO STATED HE WOULD NOT SMOKE AGAIN. INFORMED CAPT, ALL FLT ATTENDANTS COMPLETED ACR EVENT RPT. CAPT DID HAVE LCL DEPUTIES MEET FLT AND REQUESTED THAT I DEPLANE BEFORE PAX AND HAVE NO FURTHER CONTACT. I DID AS CAPT REQUESTED.
