Narrative:

Once airborne after takeoff, we received an EFIS miscomparator message, which put our heading in a temporarily unreliable situation and the aircraft was a non GPS model. Sometimes, if there is a lot of metal around certain airports, this situation can occur momentarily and then it realigns itself. There was no conflict.
