Narrative:

A split second after turning off the APU on taxi out, the electrical system dropped off as I didn't have the busses pwred with ship's generators. We'd done the after start checklist and I reached up to place the generators on, but somehow was distraction and didn't get them on the busses. The emergency lights came on for a split second until I'd switched to ship's power from the dying APU.
