Narrative:
On visual approach to runway 1R at lax, approach control/tower vectored us to final. We were then told to maintain visual with and not pass a hawker for runway 1L. We slowed to minimum approach speed and s-turned as approved by tower. We did not appear to pass the hawker and were not a conflict at any time.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: B737 CREW WAS ISSUED A 'DO NOT PASS' CLRNC INSIDE THE FAF AT LAS. THE CREW COULD NOT GO THAT SLOW, AND HAD TO S-TURN ON THE FINAL TO COMPLY WITH THE CLRNC.
